Click the Chroma Icon in the middle of the Main Lighting menu, and you should see the menu appear above.

Overview

This menu is your Main Hub for anything that isn't vanilla lighting. You can use it to apply colour to any event, note or obstacle you desire.

Color Selection

The first box in this section shows your selected colour, whether that is from the colour picker, or from selecting the colour off an existing event. This is the colour that you are currently set to place. The second box is the equivalent Hex code for the selected colour. This box is editable, so feel free to find the hex values for your favourite colour and paste them in here.

Global Color Overrides

These overrides are not actually Chroma 2.0, rather they are the SongCore default values. These overrides work ingame without having the Chroma plugin installed, as long as you have SongCore (Or PinkCore for Quest users). To set the default values, find your desired colour using the color picker, or put the hex code into the box in Color Selection, Then click the one you want to change. To reset the values to their original values, the 3 grey boxes on the far right will change them back for you.

Chroma Tools

These are the 4 selection/modification tools available to use.

  • Place Chroma Colored Objects

    • Will place Notes, Bombs and Walls in the selected colour

  • Place Chroma RGB Events

    • Will place Lighting events in the selected colour

  • Pick Color off of Chroma Colored Objects

    • Will copy the object colour to your selected colour on click

    • Does not work on Vanilla/SongCore override objects/events

  • Paint Selected Objects

    • Will Paint all selected objects/Events with the current selected colour.

Color Picker

This is where you can easily change your selected colour to whatever you want. you can do this by using one of the 2 groups on the left (HSV/RGBA), and the small black dot is also interactable, to fine tune the colour you desire. The RGBA Values on the left are also manually editable, and can be used to set colours with values above 1. Be careful with this, as overly bright lights may cause players to not be able to play your map with lights enabled.

Color Presets

Here is where you are able to quickly save and recall your favourite selected colours - to add a selected colour to the pool, simply left-click on the +, and to remove an unwanted colour, simply right-click it. A maximum of 24 colours can be stored here.
